Argon Expansion Update, January 2024

We have been working with our vendor and other ITS groups to prepare for the expansion of Argon this winter. The bulk of the order was placed before the holidays and we are tentatively planning for the vendor to be onsite for the physical installation sometime near the beginning of April.

Introduction to High Performance Computing using Argon (Zoom)

The workshop is a two-hour session that consists of two parts: an introduction to a High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment and hands-on training on the basic usage of Argon (access, configuration, job submission, and data transfer). It is geared towards users of HPC including faculties, postdocs, and students, who are eager to learn about getting started with the Argon cluster and/or storage services for their computational research.
