  • Updates:
  • 4:00PM
    • We have been able to restore service to HPC Resources.  The nature of the outage may mean that some compute resources may remain unavailable while we work to bring them back online and scheduling new jobs may be slower than normal.  We are working to identify and verify any outstanding issues.  Jobs can be scheduled and you are able to interact with SGE to verify status of your work.  We apologize for the inconvenience. 
  • 2:40PM
    • We are continuing to make progress.  We are finishing verification of the Argon before releasing it for use.
  • 1:30PM
    • We are continuing to work on restoring service to Argon, all other services should be operating normally.
  • 12:30PM
    • As indicated, IDAS is functioning normally.
    • There were some LSS systems impacted, our teams are working to restore service.
    • Argon experienced some data corruption due to the nature of the outage; we are restoring necessary files to restore the system to service.

 

Late last night Argon and the Interactive Data Analytics Service were both impacted by a power outage affecting the east side of campus.  

IDAS should be fully functional at this time, however we are continuing to work to restore service to Argon.
