Class-use of Argon
ITS-Research Services encourages the use of the Argon HPC system for coursework.
Instructors may use dedicated investor resources purchased by colleges, departments, or other groups, the UI and all.q, or request dedicated resources on a semester basis. A 1TB class file share is also available.

- Intro to Linux on HPC Guide (Texas Advanced Computing Center)
- Introduction to HPC Seminar - A 2-hour introductory seminar taught by ITS-Research Services approximately every other month
- Guest Lectures - ITS-Research Services is happy to participate in the classroom through guest lectures on request. Email research-computing@uiowa.edu to request.
- Email Support - Classes may send email to the standard support address research-computing@uiowa.edu
- 1-1 Consultation - Instructors are encouraged to contact the HPC team in advance of courses for a consultation about how HPC can be used most effectively. Additionally, 1-1 consultations are available on a time-available basis in support of class activities. Contact research-computing@uiowa.edu
